Kitty Dolly and Me earflap Hat


Child Hat Body:

round 1: sc 8 times
round 2: 2 sc in same sc (16)
round 3: 2 sc in same sc, 1 sc
round 4: 2 sc in same sc, 2 sc
round 5: 2 sc in same sc, 3 sc
round 6: 2 sc in same sc, 4 sc
round 7: 2 sc in same sc, 5 sc
round 8-19: sc in each sc


ears flaps: two of them

row 1: sc 9 times turn
row 2: chain 1, sc 9 times turn
row 3: 1 dec, sc 5, 1 dec (7)
row 4: 1 dec, sc 3 , 1 dec (5)
row 5: 1 dec, sc 1 , 1 dec (3)
round 6: 1 dec, sc 1 (2)

*edge 1 round in contrast color B

kitty ears: two of them


chain 2 times
round 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook 5 times
round 2: 2 sc in same sc
round 3: 2 sc in same sc, 1 sc
round 4-6: sc in each sc

Cut 3 strands of each colors about 1 foot long and loop them through the bottom of the earflap. Proceed to braid the strands together, tie a knot at the end.

Baby Bib



Material:

H and G Hook
Red Heart "Super Saver"

Body of Bib

use H hook

Chain 34

Row 1: chain 2, 32 dc, turn
Row 2-15: chain 2, 32 dc, turn
Row 16: chain 2, 9 dc, skip rest, turn
Row 17-27: chain 2, 9 dc, turn
Row 16: count 9 stitches attach yarn here, chain 2, dc in next 9, turn
Row 17- 23: chain 2, 9 dc, turn
Row 23: chain 2, 9 dc, chain 25
Row 24: dc in 2nd chain from hook, Dc in next 23 chains, 9 dc in last 9 dcs, turn
Row 25: chain 2, 32 dc, turn
Row 26: chain 2, 2 dc, chain 5, skip 5 dc, 25 dc, turn (button hole made)
Row 27: chain 2, 25 dc, dc 5 times on the chain, dc in last 2 st, turn
Row 28: chain 2, 32 dc fasten off.

Pocket of bib

use H hook

Chain 34

Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, 31 dc in chain, turn
Row 2-6: chain 2, 32 dc, turn.


Finishing bib and edging:

use G hook

Work 1 round of sc starting at top by button hole, when u get to bottom attach pocket by scing through both layers. On corners chain 2. Then repeat for another layer.

Join yarn to pocket do one edging row.

Button:

use G hook

Chain 5 slip stitch to first ch

Chain 2, dc 6 times in circle, attach to first dc
Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch, attach to first dc
Chain 2, *2 dc in first stich, 1 dc in next stitch* repeat all around, attach to first dc, fasten off.

Sew on behind button hole.

*Bolt is a piece of fleece cut out and sewn on for decoration
